SnackSwapperPrivacy Policy

SnackSwapper (snackswapper.com) is a snack-recommendation website. We designed it to know as little about you as possible. There are no user accounts, no sign-ins, and no tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Cookieless analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. These do not use cookies and do not track you across sites; visitors are counted via a short-lived anonymous hash.
- Anonymous aggregate counters. When you click a buy button we increment a click counter for that product, and when a search returns no results we log the search phrase itself. Neither is linked to you — no IP address, device ID, or identifier is stored with them.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and operations, as virtually every website does.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share personal data. We have essentially none to sell.
- We don't run ad networks or third-party tracking pixels.
- We don't require or store accounts, emails, or passwords.
Affiliate links
Buy buttons lead to retailers (for example Amazon) through our own redirect links. When you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Once you land on a retailer's site, that retailer's own privacy policy applies — including their cookies, which are theirs, not ours.
Social embeds and outbound links
Links to social platforms (such as Pinterest) take you to those platforms, where their privacy policies apply. We don't embed third-party widgets that track you on our pages.
Data retention and your rights
The aggregate counters described above contain no personal data, so there is nothing to associate with an individual. If you believe we hold personal data about you, or you have any privacy question, email us and we'll respond promptly.
